Currency change
It's three more sleeps before my Hong Kong all girls trip. Excited? Of course lah. I have not been traveling since our Perth trip.
Among the few important things to do before flying is to change currency to Hong Kong dollar. I did this about a week ago just so I don't have to rush or get into risk of having HKD-Finish-Liao moment. That would be nightmare.
I have always like to go to Wisma Merdeka, Kota Kinabalu to change money. There are a few money changers inside the mall and all I do is to survey the one with the best offer rate. They usually have differences of 1 to 5 cents.

100 Hong Kong dollar is equivalent to MYR39.3 - MYR39.8 currently. If you go to banks, you will normally see higher rate. For instance, I saw the rate offered at Maybank, it was MYR40.00. Boy, that was expensive!
Anyways, currency changed. Next thing, I am gonna head the Immigration department to settle my passport. I was told that travelers cannot travel if his/her passport is less than 6 months validity. Mine expiring in July so that means, I need to go and renew my passport. Ahhh well...
Tik tok tik tok...
